8 years of Chak De India? Looks like yesterday!
This is one movie we (every one in my family and surprisingly most of my friends and relatives) watch every time it is telecasted! Chak De India is one the ShahRukh Khan's movie which is very non Shahrukh Khan types (he is best in romantic roles for sure) yet one of his best performance! This also proves his acting skills and put down his critics!
Still remember the first time I watched this movie, my daughter was just few months old. I was on maternity leaves, still adjusting with motherhood! She is 8 years and a few months old now.. And she loves watching Chak De the same way like me and my husband! Its trio-sum watching it together.. for some very certain reasons:

- On and off the music by Salim and Sulaiman brings adrenaline rush with patriotism!
- It visually meets our desire to see our nation as the winner globally in some or the other sports!
- The do or die moment dialogue 'Sattar Minute' in last scene still motivates some of our hidden desires, which we have given up sometime back!
- The last scene when he returns home.. with the background song! It shows the status-quo of many of our national and international players! Brings tears to our eyes..
